This is the only dog food that my dog with multiple food allergies can eat. When we adopted him he was not in the best of health. I love that this food is gluten and grain free and doesn’t have a long list of ingredients. It’s mostly just meat with some other healthy things in it. I wanted to try this food with my puppy to supplement his regular food and to see if it would help with his loose bowel movements. He also always has goo in his eyes, so I was wondering if he had allergies in regards to his food. Aside from this food being healthy and not having junk in it, he went crazy for it. He was sniffing all around when I opened the bag and then scarfed it down when I gave it to him. I put it in a treat puzzle for him and he was so excited.

My dog loves the taste of Open Meadow so much and I love that its healthy for him. As he gets older I worry about the toll that being so active takes on his body. Jackson and Tinkerbell have been eating Canine Caviar their entire lives, and they are 10 and 8 now. In fact, their mothers ate it when they were pregnant with their litters, and I’ve kept them on it since they came home to me as pups. I love everything about this food, from the ingredients, to the care with which it is made. My dogs shine like silk without excessive grooming, they smell good, their breath is great. I never plan on feeding anything else. We rotate through Lamb, Venison, and occasionally Wild Ocean.

Angel’s SDMA is down yet ANOTHER 4 POINTS to 14!!!!
I left an earlier review with more detail about Angel’s diet for kidney disease. At its height, her SDMA had gone up to 22. That was March 2021. It is now 7 month later (Oct) and it has gone down to 14!!! I’m so happy to have found this food! Thank you DBD!!!!
